Gunter, could you also look into some other problems?
- C-SPAN2 Book TV listings are wrong more often than not, both in the Tribune-based TiVo Guide and in Zap2it.com, and it's been like this for
years. I don't understand why that has to be so, because C-SPAN's own
webpage listings are always right. (I gave up on TiVo Guide/Zap2it and have to make manual recordings from the C-SPAN listings. Very annoying!)
- Local TV stations often don't have weekend movies listed, but TV Guide's website does.
- I've been led to understand that "frames" are obsolete in website construction, but if any site needs them, it's a TV listings webpage. The "time" row headers should stay put and not scroll out of sight; they should always be visible, like a spreadsheet's "freeze rows."
- The recent changes in Zap2it's behavior has become more user-hostile: When one clicks on a listings show name and the expanded info pops down, the cast often is no longer listed, and when the episode name or
"More Episodes, News, Recaps, Cast Info, Reviews..." is clicked, the cast isn't there anymore, either. There's a
Cast link to click on the left, but it's not the episode's cast, but rather merely the general series cast. You've
removed functionality! Aaaarrrggghhh! (This kind of retrogression always happens when people try to fix something that's not broke!)
