I didn't crack a smile until Damn It, My Mom is on Facebook Filter commercial. I enjoyed that.
I don't watch Glee so the Glee sketch with Gilly was a double fail for me.
I really liked The New Boyfriend Talk Show and the Christine O'Donnell commercial those made me laugh.
I usually enjoy the Secret Word, but I thought this one was pretty weak, didn't like Jane's character at all.
The digital short was good for me.
While I thought the guy did an absolutely marvelous impression of Denzel, I didn't think they did anything very funny with the sketch as a whole.
An odd thing happened with the Suze Orman sketch, when they showed the studio view during the commercial break, when I saw the set and how Kristen was dressed, I knew it was going to be Suze Orman, I've never had that experience before, knowing what the next sketch is going to be. And sad to say, while I usually enjoy Suze Orman, this one fell pretty flat for me.

The Gloria Allred sketch was gratuitious and mean-spirited...
...and I loved every second of it. F that C.
Bill Hader is awesome, but that Chris Collinsworth impression was absolutely horrendous. Sounded more like Tom Brokaw.
One of the stills of the old Boyfriend Show guests was a dude with a falcon. I wonder if that was a shoutout to Will Forte.

I haven't watched the whole show yet. But I don't watch Glee and I hate Gilly. So at least for me, I look at this as killing two birds with one stone. If you have to have a Gilly sketch, and you know they have to have a Glee sketch, I'm glad they combined them into one mega bag of crap.

..I wondered that too!
Was that Jauquin Phoenix?
Yeah, he acted all crazy-but he was just faking it!
Magic Johnson?
Yeah, he's a HUGE friend of the show!
I really liked the "MOM" facebook filter, I wonder if someone will come up with something like that- I especially liked the photo of Andy pointing to his junk turned into a pic of him with a "MOMS RULE!" t-shirt! HA!

She was supposed to be Phyllis Diller. The jokes were pretty dead on to the real act.

I liked parts of the Facebook, New Boyfriend, the therapist digital short, and the sunday night football. The rest were really not that funny at all.

I watched up to the Gilly/Glee Sketch (not a fan of either) but will watch the rest later. The Facebook Mom Filter was awesome! And even though I don't watch "Glee," I've liked Jane Lynch since "Best in Show." That said, if this episode bombs for me I won't put the blame on her.

You know, if it weren't for Andy and Seth, I don't think I'd watch at all. Can't stand Kristen, and FF thru everything she's in. Are they ever going to let the new people do anything?

I don't get the appeal...
- I don't think she or her characters are that funny.
Luckily so far this season - last night was the first night she was heavily featured again.

I actually like Bruno Mars, even though I'm not sure I was a fan of his first single (second song he sang on SNL.)
Also, I love Jane Lynch. She's funny even when the material isn't great.

Seems to me like the new people have been getting more airtime so far than new people generally have gotten in past seasons.

Hader: "... I am not full of bananas."
I can't explain exactly why, but his delivery of this one line in this sketch had me laughing pretty hard.

I've been seeing that Tax Masters commercial a lot recently and often wondered why he doesn't face the camera. This sketch got me but good!

As I recall, no one in the studio audience did. (Those are my favorite kinds of jokes, because it makes it seem like they were written just for me.)

Agreed. I didn't get how that was supposed to be Collinsworth at all. But I loved them making fun of the Faith Hill intro.
I thought the Glee sketch was great, with the various actors portraying the cast of Glee very well, up until Gilly came in. That ruined the sketch.
I don't hate Kristen Wiig, but I do think she gets featured way too much and most of her recurring characters aren't funny. Every time one of her unfunny recurring characters appears, it's taking away a slot for someone else to actually try out something that might be funny.

Me too. Paraphrasing-"I think that was a nacho recipe" had me laughing.
And I agree with you on Kristen Wiig, as well.

In the middle of watching now and just finished the Denzel skit. I think the new guy has nailed both impressions I've seen him do (Will Smith and Denzel).

The Denzil impression was simply outstanding. Will Smith was is to bland but this was stunningly good.
I thought he did sound like Collinsworth only with waaaaay too deep a voice.
I actually quite enjoyed this show top/bottom (Wigg excluded) Nice to have a musical guest singing well with decent sound.

Did they cut the Glee sketch with the west coast run? My wife watches Glee so I tried to show it to her On Demand and it went straight to the boyfriend sketch. I think the same thing happens online.

Nope, it was on the West Coast run.
I wonder if it's the use of the Journey song that gives them rights issues.

Yeah, sketches with "real" music in them usually get cut from the on-demand and online versions because NBC only pays for the "broadcast" rights to the music.
