I was doing some massive eye rolling each time the violence aspect of the popcorn fight was brought up. The men's video more clearly articulated the "Share some" concept, it was certainly the more unique approach, and it was actually a guerrilla stunt (a point the women blatantly overlooked). Let's face it: it's pretty difficult to find an effective visual when you're selling popcorn, and you're talking about selling to the generation that grew up with Johnny Knoxville and the
Jackass crew while still playing to the Gen Y crowd that has no doubt seen the food fight depicted in far more obvious ways. Comparatively, this was a tame endeavor.
