Can't see moved shows

I just loaded a Mac G4 MDD with a SATA card and 1.5TB SATA drive.
Told it through the Pref for TiVo transfer to use that drive's TiVo folder.

Shows will suck down from TiVos in the house to that drive, and back up, no problem.

Shows (either mpg coded or .Tivo) that were moved from other hard drives either from same Mac or others, cannot be seen. i.e. When viewing show list on my TV, the Mac3 folder only shows me the 4 shows just transfers from TiVo to drive, nothing else, even though the TiVo transfer app on that Mac is loaded with recordings.

First I've ever seen this symptom....

Adding note : I just told the Mac to transfer a show from Basement TiVo. That transferred show can be seen just fine from all TiVos.

Adding note so I don't bump my own post - tried using the SATA drive to boot, same symptom. Things moved or created (encoded) now can be seen, but old stuff moved from other Macs on networks can't. If no fix, I guess time will render this moot, if I just use this Mac and no other to encode and move stuff off tivos.
