Do a Clear and Delete everything?
Or maybe you won't really need the password: http://tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/sho...d.php?t=432938

Call TiVo support and maybe they will help you with that.

I had this problem once. My Tivo did not have any type of password protection set up. But mysteriously, the password protection actually came on one day.
Obviously I had no idea what the password was since I never turned it on(it turned itself on).
I called Tivo support(1.877.367.8486) and gave my account information and Tivo box number to a customer service agent. He reset the password for me. After he gave me the new password I went into the Tivo settings and turned the password protection off.

Well, it was just a suggestion to try. I had no idea if it would work, which is why I included the question mark.

Call Tivo support certainly seems to be the most reasonable, initial resort here.
