I recently upgraded to digital cable. I have a series 2 Tivo. Watching live TV through the Tivo/cable box works fine. The RF changes the channel on the cable box from the Tivo just fine for both live TV and recordings. However, if the TV is not on, all recordings show a yellow screen that says I don't get that channel. But there IS audio - just not the actual video. If I turn on the TV in the middle of the recording the picture comes in both live and on the recording. But everything at the beginning of the recording is still yellow. I have a Scientific Atlanta cable box. Why does my TV have to be on to receive the picture? And is there anything I can do about it?
