Cool Premiere on the way!

I just ordered my TiVo Premiere through the sellmoretivo.com promotion with crazy reduced prices and I should have it within the next 5 days. I've been crawling around these forums for months now hearing a lot of garbage about the new premiere. I decided to finally order it once I saw the "c" update get released and I know it doesn't fix much but honestly, I like having the latest stuff. Is there any advice you all can lend me about what I should do when it arrives, what I should and shouldn't expect. I have the TiVo HD now and overall I'm satisfied, but am really excited to get this new unit. I'll have my fingers crossed for the next 8-10 months for batches of updates that will make this thing fly!

Anyway, any advice is appreciated

Well the "C" update completely stablises that Premiere, so it actually does fix quite a bit. Its no secret that the Premiere had stablity issues prior to that update, but ever since at least my unit has been fine.\\

Expect the unit to be stable (as long as the C update is applied on Guided Setup), but also expect a little lag between selecting menu options, in my opinion that needs to be improved, but it does not impeed use at all, also expect transitions between live tv, recordings and SD formatted screens to be a little slow. Other than that its the same TiVo experience, and if you want to wait for the rest of the HDUI to be completed, you can always select SD Menus.

My opinion is that in the next couple of weeks, we will start to see TiVo make improvements to the HDUI. This is their new platform, and their bread and butter now, and their future is dependant on it, so expect them to take any critisms seriously.
