Best Buy 10% coupons

Just got some best buy coupons in the mail for this weekend, 10% off. I thought these coupons used to explicitly exclude Tivo brand DVR's, but that wording doesn't seem to be there anymore. Has anyone had luck with these copouns for a tivo ?

I'd say go for it. If it doesn't specifically exclude Tivos, then they should accept it.

Too bad you can't use the 10% off and then get the lifetime discount from TiVo.

This would be great! One of the reasons I still have not bought one of the new units.

were these coupons in a general mailer? or something for Reward Zone members? I want some of these, I get my stupid tax money on Friday, I was going to order online from FW or Amazon, but 10% would be about the equivalent for buying the TPXL... be pretty sweet to go pick it up instead of buying it online

Used one on a Premiere yesterday in Corpus Christi, $269.99+Tax. Not much cheaper with taxes added than Amazon, and Amazon has that $50 coupon for downloads. After looking at the Amazon selection, I didn't like the limitations for usage (i.e. no HBO show's etc) and I didn't have to wait.

I'm replacing a fried Tivo HD (my fault), the alternative was to find a year old HD for ~$150. I figured I might as well get the newest unit. I'm not at all unhappy with the performance, this is nothing compared to how bad the S3 was at launch. This is more than usable, maybe not complete but very usable.

So these coupons will work? I got the 12% off coupon, but, not sure what category they would fall under.

that's weird, I am a reward zone member and I didn't get it, I already ordered off of Fat Wallet anyhow, and since I am a new customer I get $50 off the TPXL, essentially the same as 10% off the best buy price. But I would gotten reward zone points, so that would have been sweet.

Then "return" your XL and buy it again - certainly within the 30 day period, right?

I tried today and it didn't work either. She stated it was only on Home Theater items and DVR's aren't part of the offer.

If it is within the 30 day return period just go to Customer Service and they can cancel and re-ring with the coupon.

Sounds like some stores will take it some won't, the one I tried wouldn't and said it didn't apply to Tivo's. Applies to: Home Theater: DVD players and recorders • Blu-ray Disc™ players
• home audio • audio and video accessories • furniture
• Home Theater installation • also valid at Magnolia Home Theater®
