Nice shot of the discovery bar recommendations. Good that you can tweak the settings for different categories.
Are there any options to split out the My Shows into family members? This was previewed, but haven't seen anything about it.

That was one of the screengrabs that was accidentally given to Engadget by TiVo. But I can't remember if that specific one was a mockup or truly a feature on the near-term roadmap. (It's my understanding that the Comcast one was pure Photoshop with no plans.)
Speaking of which, no Pandora app yet.

Ouch. Pandora is great.
I'm with you on the potential of the device. Tivo will roll things out, just wish it was a complete package for the UI up front. Hopefully with an easier dev environment (Flash), we'll see a faster turnaround for changes.

It just burns me up seeing that claimed as an HD interface; I've yet to see a screen utilize the HD real estate well; most of the list-oriented items could've been done in the previous SD resolutions almost as is for as little actual text as is onscreen at any time.
About the only thing particularly interesting is the discovery bar and PIP screen... which actually reduce room for additional relevant details onscreen for the menu's primary purpose.
My only hope at this point is that the app SDK TiVo provides will offer some real access to basic DVR functionality such that we can mostly stay within our own apps and just toss off the rest of the "HD interface" TiVo seems determined to provide.
I'm not sure there's been a single peep about what sort of SDK will be available to developers, and when, has there?

If I read this correctly... does this machine handle MRV to older series 2 machines ok? Tivo website seems to indicate MRV works fine... in SD only which makes sense... is that true? Also, will Pytivo still function with this box? I use that daily.... thx!
