Recording question

I only have a Series 2 now. I hook my cable through the coax port, I don't have a cable box or digital cable. If I get a Premier can it record two shows at once through the coax port, or does that require a cable card or something else?

Yes you can record two shows at once. You will need a cable card to get the digital channels.

You can record two channels at once through the single coax input.

If you want digital cable -- it's not required -- then you'll need one CableCard.

Make sure it's an M-card.
