Issues with S3 to S2 Transfers

I just recently upgraded two of my TiVo Series2 units with TiVo HD units. I've noticed something happening a lot more often with transferred shows.

This morning, for example, I tried to transfer Nip/Tuck, recorded in SD, from my HD in the bedroom to my S2 in the sunroom. The first 2 seconds of video downloaded and didn't seem to go any further. I tried to cancel and re-start the program download, but the new one wouldn't start. I went into the To-Do List area and cleared out the recordings. At this point, I just tried to transfer something else from my TiVo server on my desktop and the transfer wouldn't even start because it said that there were recordings in progress and that it would be added to the To-Do List. Checked the list and there is nothing in front of the new recording.

I eventually had to re-start the TiVo to get transfers working again. At that point, video from my desktop worked fine, but I never could get Nip/Tuck.

Anybody have any suggestions for anything I can check or correct? Could this behavior be caused by a bad hard drive? The only reason I ask is that I just upgraded the HD unit.
