Forum etiquette question
I have a TiVo Series2 Dual Tuner that I'm no longer in need of since I upgraded to a TiVo HD almost two years ago. It works perfectly well, I just don't have a use for it, and don't foresee ever having a use for it. It's a shame to throw it out, because there's nothing wrong with it. I'd like to sell it for a fair price to someone who could use it, but am unsure of where to post it here in the forums, and I don't want to cause problems or headaches for the moderators.

There is no where to post that here as it's simply not allowed.

You could sell on Craigslist. I found a good deal there to buy a Series 2 recently.

Thanks for the info.
I'll most likely put it up on eBay then, since I haven't had good luck selling/giving items on craigslist, and shipping it won't be an issue since it's in the box the TiVo HD came in.

about 2 weeks ago i started ebaying all my old series 2's.
2 where not being used (540's) and 1 was (dual turner).
I got 51 bucks for the duals turner....39 for one of the 540's and 35 for the other (plus 20 for shipping each).
Ebay is the way to go.

What if one just wants to give the thing away? Is that allowed here?

I would be happy to take it off your hands & pay you for the shipping & handling by Paypal if you have it.

I'd be interested in your S2 DT. I'll send you message in the moment.

We're currently working on getting a forum up for folks to share their eBay links for TiVo products. I'll post to this thread to update, but there will be an announcement too.

Check out freecycle. There is a group in Richmond. It's a great way to pass on things you don't need any longer to someone else who can use them.
