Amazon Unbox website HD question

So I am browsing online for a movie on Unbox. I run across one that I like. At the bottom of the movie it says HD. Is there anyway to make sure that when ordering the movie for your Tivo that you want the HD version or that it is even available in HD for the Tivo?

I have always browsed from the Tivo because it seemed you could control this. I would love to use the amazon site for convenience, but am afraid I will likely end up with a crappy SD version of the movie.

Thoughts?

I don't think you can order HD content from the website. I think it must be done from the box.

Yes... Amazon VOD has the following rules (for now)

Tivo: search for amazon vod, if it says hd, and you order, that's what you get

PC:
HD Movies:
-are not visible from the web because Amazon does not currently have rights to allow HD Movie downloads to PC,
-they are only visible from a HD capable amazon vod device like a HD tivo....
-some movies will say "also available in HD" at the bottom, but if you order it, you are ordering the SD (480) version, because that is the product page you are looking at
-yes it's crazy misleading and makes it much harder to find that hd content cause no keyboard
HD TV:
- HDTV is visible from the web, so when you order it and send to your Tivo it comes down in the highest resolution available

cant wait for that qwerty device

That is the most confusing part... you CAN rent HD shows to your Tivo from the website. Just seems overly complex....

I thought I was ordering the movie "Adam" in HD from Amazon.com. Turns out it downloaded the SD version to my series 3. Still trying to figure out what I did wrong.

You didn't do anything wrong. You just can't order HD movies from the website. The biggest tipoff is the price. HD movie rentals are 4.99. SD movies are 3.99. So if you see $3.99 it will be SD.

yeah... it's really confusing.... here's the boil down:

ordering from web: HDTV only, movies goto tivo SD
ordering from Tivo: HD anything as long as you select the right edition

major pain to search something using the peanut

I ordered Star Trek II online thinking it would be in HD. It downloaded the Standard Def version. I complained to Amazon and got my money back.
