Best Model to Look For?

So, after 8 years my old Tivo box has finally died. It's funny, the fan will go but nothing else happens. Any suggestions on what to do to bring it back to life?

I was thinking of this as an opportunity to get a new(ish) box. I was going to pick one of ebay, but I can't decide on the best model? Anyone here got one for sale?

My living room is the old Humax DVD recorder Tivo. I like it, but rarely burn a dvd anymore and thought the idea of recording two shows at once would be more valuable. Anyone got any suggestions on a particular model to use? How about TCD649080?

You can pick up an HD TiVo at Best Buy for $149 with the purchase of any HD TV.

If you have cable or OTA, get nothing less than the TiVo HD, even if you do not have an HDTV.

Get a Series 2 only if you have a service which absolutely needs their box to use with a TiVo (but will be in SD though), or you can manage to get one with Product Lifetime. I'd not bother with a Series 1 at all.
