Switching Providers
I've got Verizon installers coming tomorrow and and switching to FiOS TV from Time Warner Cable. I'm wondering now though, what will I have to reset on my TiVo? Will I have to setup all season pass' again? Clear the To Do List? What exactly must be done to ensure I don't miss any of my programming?

You need to run the guided setup again before the cable cards are installed.
When I switched from Comcast to FIOS, my Season passes automatically started recording from the FIOS channels after everything was setup with the cable cards. Although when I looked at the Season PAsses it still showed the Comcast channel numbers. I eventually went through and re did the SPs so it wouldn't confuse me, but I really didn't have to.

Rerun guided setup specifying FiOS, and connect to the TiVo Service a couple of times. The Season Passes should re-map the the new channel assignments. When I went from having Brighthouse Networks to just antenna, I was pleasantly surprised that I had nothing to do with most of my Season Passes!

Like aaronwt says, there is no need to recreate your season passes.
Season Pass Manager and the To Do List will initially list the wrong channel numbers, but they will still record from the correct channels. Within three days, Season Pass Manager should report the correct numbers. The To Do List will report the correct numbers after 10-12 days.

Thanks for the good news. I definitely wasn't looking forward to recreating the 150+ season pass' I have setup currently. The installer just left, running TiVo Serice connection a few times now. Definitely much happier with FiOS already (No TA, yay!) though I am concerned about some odd CableCard status messages, but all channels are tuning fine so I guess it's no big deal.

Well that definitely did the trick. Everything updated properly (including channel numbers) after one very long update. The only channel which didn't update and missed a recording was Showtime.

I will be switching from Comcast to FIOS cablecards on a S3 and HD next Wednesday. Is there a documented process to follow?
This thread mentions running guided setup *before* FIOS arrives. Do I remove the Comcast cablecards before running guided setup again?

Yes, remove the cards. When re-running setup there's an option that says you'll install the cards later. Choose it.
Oh, and welcome to FIOS. You are lucky, indeed
