Season pass vs wishlist

I just got my TiVo a few days ago and I had a question I can't seem to find. For some shows I like they are on multiple channels and I enjoy them enough to try to watch all the episodes even if I have seen them before. Anyway my question was should I season pass them or wishlist those certain shows. When I season pass it only does it for one channel so I end up missing out on alot of episodes.

Then do a wish list. But be sure to set it to record every episode, 1st run and repeat. Also set how many to keep at a time.

I set one Season Pass, then go to "View upcoming episodes" and choose a showing on a different channel, set another Season Pass, wash, rinse, repeat.

On the Season Pass Manager screen put the passes in order of preferred channel. You can do fun stuff like choose the showing on the HD channel but if you can't get that, get it in SD.

I have 4 PBS stations to choose from so for stuff like Charlie Rose I get it from one or the other. The same for Ask This Old House which also on DIY.

Yeah I started doing the multiple season passes for house but that on like 6 channels. My season pass manager is already in the 40s I'm not a fan of the list the same thing 6 times. I guess wishlist it is. Also in the wishlist I record all of my favorite teams games. Is there an easy way to extend it. I know you can if you do a season pass but that would record a bunch of other games I don't want to watch at all

Another one. It's a frickin' computer. Keeping track of lots of boring and mundane jobs is what we use computers for. It doesn't care if things look neat and tidy.

I hover around 100 Season Passes with a couple of the 3 passes for one show things, and passes for mini-series shows that are are only on like once a year. I keep my S3 busy. I will put the Guru Guides and "meh" shows at the end to get picked up when there's room and a free tuner.

In recording options for the Wishlist you can extend the recording time just like a season pass.
