Transfering
I upgraded to windows 7 64 bit and now when I transfer from my computer to my tivo HD series 3 unit (I have the digital rights key) it says its will put the program in my to do list and never shows up just shows its recording....Any fixes for this?...I download the 2.8 desktop and it didn't fix the problem...and whats a TA?

I have seen that happen if there is DRM on the file you are trying to transfer. For example some music videos downloaded from the iTunes store.

There isn't any DRM on these shows I'm transfering....I just need to know what to do to fix it...I'm thinking its probably a windows 7 glitch but thought maybe tivo had a fix for it

For what its worth I am running Win7-64 bit and Tivo Desktop 2.8 and have no problems transferring non DRM'ed content to my THD's.

Have you looked in the TiVo Home Media.... forum and at ***this thread*** which I linked in post #2 ?

Not the problem I'm having...it just says it will add to the todo list and never shows up and the blue light comes on showing its transfering but it never shows up on the now playing list

I've had this problem if the movie had macrovision protection.

The same here. One win 7 64 bit and one Win7 32 bit. I've had zero problems with TiVo Desktop 2.8/
