Go to the Now Playing list. At the top of that is something called Recording History. It should tell you why the programs were not recorded.

Recording history is at the top of the To Do List, which is under Find Programs.

TiVo will never "tape" anything, just record to the hard drive

Seriously, how are your Season Passes set up? First run, Repeats, etc.? Also, some network shows were repeats due to the World Series. If you are more specific about how the Season Pass is set up and the show names that did not record, people here will certainly give you as much help as possible and figure out what went wrong.

The Recording History feature only stores 1-2 days of data, so if the program was earlier in the week it will have dropped off by now.

The Recording History has far more than 2 days of data and it always has. It goes back at least 12 days and goes forward for as far out as guide data exists.

Doh! I just went and looked at my Recording History, and you are certainly correct. Obviously I am wrong - don't know why I thought that.

If no one said it before, welcome to the community. Please feel free to come here with any/all questions. Just be sure to search first, then ask questions. Please be specific when asking, since there are so many variables that can determine the outcome of any situation. The more information the better. People here are TiVo enthusiasts and are more than willing to help out.

With that said, what did adjust? Is the season pass working now? What model do you have?

By the way, I do not know if you caught my "wink" when telling you about the "tape" vs. "record" statement, but I was kidding. Hope you know that.

Just to add my two cents. Keep an eye on your to do list. That way you can make sure that what's supposed to record will be and you can cancel any recordings that's you don't want.
