tivo wireless adapter to netgear router

I have a Netgear mr814v2 router. 2 series 2 tivo's and a laptop are connected wirelessly. The 2 Tivo's use Lynksys wireless adapters- all work fine. Bought a new HDTivo and forced to use Tivo adapter. The Tivo adapter appears to connect to the Netgear network, but gets no signal.

I tried connecting the adapter to another Tivo that gets 85% using the Lynksys adapter. Still gets 0%. It doesn't even show up as being connected to my netwrok when I go into the router settings.

Tivo told me the adapter was bad and sent me a new one. I'm on my third adapter and the same problem. It's not the adapters at this point.

Anyone have any help to offer? I'd appreciate any info possible. I don't want to return the HDTivo but if it won't work I might have to.

Do you have MAC filtering turned on in your router? If so, you'll need to add the unique MAC id of the Tivo wireless adapter.

On the other hand, after spotty wireless connections at best, I switched to Belkin powerline adapters for my TiVo HD. http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-Powerli...7159369&sr=8-1.
