Difference between Lifetime Basic and Lifetime Plus

Can someone explain the difference between Lifetime basic and lifetime plus. Thanks

Are you talking about one of the Toshiba units? Where you have Tivo Basic built in, which has several days of programming and manual recording, without subscription fee? That's different from getting the full, real liftetime service, with season passes, etc.

If you have the manual for the Tivo, it explains all that!

Others will no doubt chime with the specific details; you could also Google it to find out more!

It really irks me when I see listings on eBay and such using the term "Lifetime Basic" because there is really no such thing. There is "TiVo Basic Service" which does not require a subscription to the TiVo service, but as can be seen by the chart (link included previously) it is far different from the regular TiVo Service (known on these boxes as "TiVo Plus Service")
