Hello,
I recently purchased a HD unit. It's my third, first HD model. After set up I called Insight Cable - Louisville, Ky to request two cablecards. The tech drop them off and said follow your tivo directions shouldn't have any problems.
After being unsuccessful the first time figured I'll tech support. They asked for the Host and Data number which I passed on. They stated to try it again and if you have any problems contact Tivo support.
Well that was 4 days ago. I'm a huge Tivo fan and have never had any problems.
Each time I follow the tivo directions I get the following
"Please wait..... Acquiring Channel Information" (goes on for 30 or more mins)
Then it beeps and shows a new screen
Error acquiring channels
Try again to acquire info
Anyone have any ideas what to try next? I'm not sure what to do now.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
