Daily Call Timing

I would like to set my TIVO to call during the day instead of in the middle of the night. The hard drive working the download is too noisy. Can that be done?

No. It is all set as random so the TiVo servers don't get slammed by custom time.

Is your drive stock? What model number do you have?

There's no way to set the time for a Tivo's daily call.

I don't know if it will work, but have you tried manually connecting to the Tivo service?
This can sometimes reset when the Tivo will make a "next attempt" to automatically connect.
You can see when Tivo plans the next call on the Phone & Network screen.

Not on the TiVo.

You can by controling the timing its connection is available to it, with a phone line or network timer. Some routers have the ability to schedule when a device is permitted to access the network.
