Transferring from DVR to DVR

Hi,
I have a Motorola QIP 7216 Hi-Definition DVR with FiOS service with a few movies on it. I want to buy a TiVo device since my current DVR can only hold up to 160GB. Would it be possible to transfer the remaining movies on my current DVR to a TiVo device or would I have to invest in capture cards/DVD recorders to save the movies on my current device?

It is not possible to transfer movies from a Motorola DVR to a TiVo...unless those movies on the Motorola DVR were recorded from local channels. Sorry.

You would have to invest in a capture card.
