I was about to give up when I saw the smiley face in the dream, but they managed to resolve it fairly well. It's off sharkjump watch for the moment.
My hope is they can resolve the season (I have no idea how many episodes are left) with a good ending despite not knowing their fate for next season (Leno taking up 5 hours a week puts this show near/on the bubble).

There were some really good moments here. "Something knocked the Warren Buffett out of Marie," line from Joe was a classic moment. The whole Marie B story was good, especially Joe's boss. The bad guy was menacing. The scene at the end validating her desire to do good and save people was a little too much, but not unexpected.
The only thing I can't understand, STILL, is the unending skepticism of Devalos and Scanlon. They have seen her time and again point them in the right direction, but Scanlon's, "Well, you got it wrong!" and Devalos' "I'm just going to assume the second guy doesn't exist," lines are unsupportable given Alison's track record.
The look on Bridgett's face when she was threatened by the bad guy was very well done.

i'm glad we got rid of the bad man, one more ep and it was getting annoying. But this was starting to feel like ghost whisperer.
so what's joes game now..i realize bossman didnt let him get a word in edgewise but joe never told him he has no money. and boss will be pissed when he finds out joe has no money and feel played. Cant end good. maybe joe will go to Wilt?
the drivign to see the dead body in the middle of the night and back before morning was a weird timeline.

I think Joe's dad is dead, IIRC he shows up periodically to advise the family to do something one way or another.
I don't know who the Texan is.

The Texan is the Texas Ranger that died after working with Alison on a case. He came back a few times to visit.

I'm starting to waver in my love for this show. I've watched since day one, and have always enjoyed it. I look forward each week to the writers finding new ways to basically rehash the same concept--Allison has a dream, let's solve a crime.
But lately it's starting to wear on me. I don't know if it's because there are only so many ways to rehash that concept, or if it's just lost its novelty, or what. The family interaction gets better as the girls get older, and I enjoy that part. But the rest... meh.
This would be one of the few shows I watch on a regular basis, that if it was not renewed (Rob won't let me say "canceled") I wouldn't be very upset. And if it comes down to this or Chuck, I'm hoping NBC makes the right decision.

This drives me crazy. It seems so lazy on the part of the writers: Well, here's the scene where Devalos and Scanlon express skepticism.
I don't mind when they say stuff like, "Allison, we really don't have enough information to go on here" or something, but when they dismiss her with sarcasm and condescension it's so annoying. She is always right in the end (or almost always), for crying out loud. It makes Devalos and Scanlon seem sort of dumb and they aren't supposed to be.

Captain Push.
I remember him being in a coma, and I remember an episode where Alison was in communication with his dead father. But I don't recall him dying. I'm not saying it didn't happen; I just don't remember it.

Law enforcement people, I think, are prone to be skeptical of these people anyway, and there were things in this arc where things did go wrong or weren't the way Allison saw them. Yes, she's had a ton of things that she's helped them on and was dead on (no pun intended ), but I don't think either of them are ready to totally sell out to her. I guess I didn't see a problem with their "healthy skepticism".

it's good she didnt tell the cops she now had this guy messing up her dreams or they may not even believed her again when she was right. They would always have been suspect
