Tivo hd with charter basic expasion line up problem

Hi guys,
i'm new to the forum and to the tivo world..I just bought a tivo hd and i'm having problems with my channel line up..I have basic cable with the expansion and i seem not to get a few of my hd channles on my tivo..I never had a cable box or any kind of top box,but i never had a problem when i had the cable connected to my vizio tv i had all the channles...Until now that is..anybody out there can help me out it would be great...

i did everything channel scan/channel listing nothing...

I also have Charter and to get the HD channels, I had to get a multi-stream card to decode the signals (they're encrypted). I could only get basic channels without the set top box, and the same applies for me with HD.

Call Charter and have them install a multi-stream card in your TiVo. They're $3.00 a month, I think.

Are you saying you have the Extended Basic package??

I don't know about Charter, but with my cableco (RCN Boston) in order to make it work you have to not say yes to the "Is channel XX station YY" question, keep saying "no" until you get to a screen that says "Is your lineup Basic, Extended Basic, Rebuild , or Extended Rebuild" that is the only way to make it work because spme channels on both lineups are the same and tivg assumes the wrong one. Try re-running guided setup and see if that helps.
