I have 2 zippered tivos wired to my network. Last week I could see music and photos on both tivos but couldn't get the tivos to see each other. So, I had to edit the /etc/hosts file and manually add in the ip address of the other tivo and then I removed dns from hosts: files dns in /etc/nsswitch.conf as I saw other people on here have done. The 2 tivos can see each other but now I can't see music and photos on my pc anymore.
So it seems making those changes to the hosts and nsswitch files messed up the connection to music and photos? I tried adding my router ip and as the dns address in tivowebplus but still can't get music and photos to show. Are there other things I can try to get the tivos to see music and photos again?
