Scrubs "My Saving Grace"/"My Happy Place" (OAD 1/11/2009)
Looks like we're back to mediocre.
And it also looks like the pro Elliot/J.D. Scrubs writers are back in control. I don't care that they're together, it's just the drastic flip flops between direction. They went from having no desire of each other (the episode where J.D.'s brother hooks up with Elliot) to now having feelings for each other again? It's not interesting, it's indecisive and tiring.
A new theme seems to be having the characters sit down and having long talks which to me tends to make the episode drag. I love dialog but one of the reasons I loved Scrubs was the quick dialog.
Some good moments and the overly touchy guy bit started to win me over by the second episode but not great.

I liked how Dr. Maddox commented that Dr. Cox had a stupid last name...
And I liked Elliot's One Million Years BC outfit...

I enjoyed them both. Neither were stellar, and they dragged a bit, but there were a few laughs. The Todd was back. Dr. Jan Itor was back. They never resolved why Ted's face was hurting, so hopefully that will get answered eventually.

What do you mean? It was hurting from smiling---those muscles had atrophied from disuse...

They never resolved the situation with the other Dr who wore the same outfits as Elliot.
I liked both episodes.

Any Scrubs is always good, but I have seen better episodes. I still believe in the show though...but JD has got to lose the attempted facial hair.

Disappointing episodes. I guess last week was a fluke.

Disagree with most people in this thread, I've really enjoyed every episode this season, way more than the past few seasons. If they continue to be this good I will be happier with them ending on this note as opposed to one of the past seasons.

good, solid episodes with many laughs and a few touching moments (the father and daughter thing was nice)...
liked the free candy bit...I always assumed JD and Elliot would hook up again to close the show (they always do, so why not this show?) but was surprised that they did it by the 4th episode...

I'm betting the janitor's name will be Neil Flynn.

That would be funny. I read an interview with the creator where he said they felt like because it had been a secret for so long, they felt like they had to come up with something big for Janitor's name, but ultimately, there really wasn't anything, so Your suggestion would be great.
