True Blood no longer available

Can someone explain what happened. I had a humax tivo dvr in my living room where I had a cable box and HBO. I was taping True Blood season 2 just fine. Then i upgraded to a Tivo HD Player, now most HD programs show up with an X on them and I cannot transfer to pc. Is there some setting that I am doing wrong? NO HD program will transfer to PC, I have to record no HD channels to make it work. This works for all but premium channels but obviously not what I want quality wise.

Can someone help me out?

Most providers protect the digital versions of their premium movie channels so recordings cannot be downloaded.

TiVo and all other CableCard products are required to respect this "copy one generation" (CCI=0x02) bit.

Cable providers are not permitted to protect any content on local channels. Many cable providers do not protect content on non-premium HD cable channels, but a few like Brighthouse and Time Warner do.
