lost 18 channels today

tonight i was doing the channel flip thing on my tivo, and lo and behold, because of the sdv, i have lost 18 digital channels already, and i have to pay for the programming from timewarner? wonder how many more they are going to turn off , before we get these tuning adapters? and on top of this we have to pay tivo 12.95 for the service? i am ready to go back to dtv now, i am glad that i still have it active, and have the wonderful timewarner hd dvr, what a joke it is. it wont even hold a live buffer when you come out of a pre-recorded show that you watch. this is from timewarner mid ohio, dont know if other places in ohio is affected by this yet or not?

I thought most deployment of SDV was pretty-much on hold waiting for a resolution to the FCC fines. Nice to see that some systems aren't cowed. Hopefully your area will get the TA soon.

For some reason, the SDV channels here in Cablevision are viewable by me. I can't say with complete certainty that this is the case 24 hours a day, but when I tune in, they display. This may mean they're not really SDV (unlikely), or that someone somewhere in my vicinity is "fetching" the channel(s) with their cable box, and I'm the lucky recipient. This is not as probable as it sounds only because at 4am in the morning or 2pm in the weekday afternoon, I still get the channels that are presumably SDV, a time at which it's less likely there is someone with a cable box that's tuning.
