please forgive my new-ness. I have a dsr-704 with some precious video stored on it that i planned to transfer over to a pc at some point. My problems started out with the video/audio sort of pausing while watching live tv. It was sort of random, and over time progressively got worse. It got to the point where it would get "stuck" every 5-10 secods or so. Now it won't boot past the "powering up" screen. I don't care much about the unit, what I'd like to do is recover the video that I had stored on it. Is this possible? Can I take the drive out and connect it to a pc that will find it and transfer it into a format I can eventually burn to dvd?
Any help would be appreciated.
