I am posting this thread to see if there are any S1 users who still have WORKING Suggestions on their system. "Working" means that:
- Suggestions are recording automatically (if set to do so within the preferences)
and/or
- If you have any suggestions listed within the Tivo Menu (under the Pick Programs to Record / Suggestions screen, there should be a listing of "suggestions" you can pick to record manually)
Please let me know if you have a WORKING suggestions system on your USA Series1 Tivo.
The reason for this is because many users are experiencing a total loss of this feature, as noted on this thread:

If your Suggestions are working please let us know!
In addition, note that this is for
USA-users only, because UK-Tivos have already been told that their suggestions feature will not work any longer (see

And this is for
Series 1 users only since most S2/HD/S3 users have been able to "fix" any problems with suggestions via the "reboot trick".
