FIOS and Discovery HD pixillation

About 3 weeks before my FIOS channel lineup changed, I started noticing a lot of stuttering and pixillation, but only on this one channel.

Even after the channel remap, it is still doing this to the point that I can't really even watch the show. I can get maybe 2-4 seconds of clean audio/video before something happens. Either the sound cuts in and out or the picture goes south or both.

Anyone notice this on just one channel?

Nope. I notice it on many channels. Mostly in the 411,000 to 429,000 MHz range.

What did Verizon say when you called them?

Which channel?

You could try an attenuator. (See the 5,000,000 other Fios threads for more on this.)

Sorry - thought I included that, it's Discovery HD.

I could try the attenuator route, but wouldn't that work across the spectrum instead of just at this one channel?

I see it now; it's only in the title.

Yes, it will attenuate the signal on all channels. And yes, there's a chance that could make it too low for some channels. But you may be able to find a happy medium, where all channels are in a good range. The overall Fios signal is strong, and can survive quite a bit of attenuation.

Haven't seen it on Discovery. Mostly on Fox and ABC
