How to connect S2 to HD

Ok, I've searched and can't seem to find this....I have a S2 and a new HD and would like to find out how to transfer shows between them. Both are connected to my wifi connection via the TiVo usb wireless connections. My knowledge of networking is very limited, but I can follow instructions. Thanks for any help, it's much appreciated!!

On TiVo.com make sure "Transfers Enabled" is checked on your account.
Make sure both TiVo's are on the same account.
Make sure both TiVo's have the same MAK (Media Access Key).

Review the attached link....
http://www.tivo.com/setupandsupport/...m_Viewing.html

Once everything is setup properly, you will be able to see the other TiVo at the bottom of the Now Playing List. Select the other TiVo, and browse the Now Playing List, select a show, then select Transfer.

Do you have the show transfer capability set up on your systems? Go to tivo.com and enable it, first..

then just hook them up to the network, and you'll see the other Tivo(s) at the bottom of the Now Playing list.

hmm...maybe this has to do with the fact that I just activated the new HD tivo today and it hasn't registered fully with tivo yet? I purchased lifetime FYI

or
just noticed my HD unit has SW version 8.1.xxxxx and S2 has 9.3.xxxxx, could this be the cause? Also, on my HD box the "DVR Name" that assigned on tivo.com is not showing up in the system information....

I think you need to wait for it to register with tivo.com first. Not entirely sure but I just got my S2 and I was having issues seeing it from my PC so I left it, then this morning it shows active on tivo.com and now I'm able to transfer back and forth. It could also be that software thing too. While not entirely related, my S2 came with 7.2 and live365 wouldn't play at all, it would say playing but no sound. I updated over night now it's 9.1 or something and live365 works, so it's possible things may have changed in newer versions.

I'm guessing it's the software, as stated here: http://www.tivo.com/setupandsupport/...m_Viewing.html

HD is going through update as I type, hopefully this fixes it! Thanks for the tips everyone
