Channel Not Found?

We've been told by the cable company we have a channel we're trying to subscribe to. My wife wants FITTv, which for us is channel 267.

Now we've apparently had it the whole time, but our Tivo doesn't recognize channels past 99 or so. When we manually put in 2-6-7, it goes to channel 2.

Contacted the cable company to see if we needed a cable box to decipher the higher channels, and he said we wouldn't need that. So I figure it's a Tivo issue that I'm not familiar with.

My wife also told me she spent 45 minutes letting the Tivo channel set up to auto find it, but she didn't have any luck.

Any suggestions on how to fix this? Apparently we have several hundred channels were not seeing or having recorded right now!

Can't really answer that unless you tell us what model of TiVo you hae. S3, TiVo HD, S2-DT, S2, S1, etc.

Who is your cable company and what package are you paying for: Basic, Expanded Basic, Digital Starter, etc.

It's a series 2 DVD-R.
I have Cox cable. When I contacted them, they told me I had channel 267 as a part of some "sports package" (umm...never asked for that), so I can only presume that's Extended. We're not paying for any movie channels.
Hope this helps, thx!

A series 2 connected with only coax (no cablebox) can tune the analog channels from Cox. these are usually channels 2-99.

I do not believe that Cox is providing an analog channel on 267 and that the CSR you spoke with at Cox is misinformed. In order to tune a channel in that number range you will need a cablebox from Cox.
