Where can I buy Series 3 THX

I don't see anywhere to buy this? Tivo.com makes no mention of it nor does Amazon.com, Best Buy. All I see is the TivoHD?

It's called a "Tivo Series 3". Amazon has it at http://www.amazon.com/TiVo-TCD648250...dp/B000I661J0/ Edit: Just noticed that isn't really sold by Amazon, it's one of those dumb other-people-selling-stuff-on-Amazon things. Oops.

You can also try searching for the model #,tThe Series3 is the TCD648250B and the TiVo HD is the TCD652160. (Info from http://www.gizmolovers.com/series3-faq/ )

However, TiVo.com de-listed the series 3 last month. And most of the new items on Amazon are way over list price.

Circuitcity.com , bestbuy.com, no longer list it.

But Frys Outpost still shows stock of it.

??

Actually, all the Amazon sources appear very reasonable compared to Fry's.

Fry's is $100 higher?

I wonder how many of those glo-remotes they have laying around. I would love it if they included one with the TivoHDs.

Actually DVR Upgrade (this site's sponsor) and Weakness both still list new base and upgraded Series 3 TiVos for sale.

Thanks,

Actually, we don't leave them laying around, but we do keep them in stock. More importantly, we bundle them (free) with upgraded TiVo HD units; please see here for more details or check out the sticky specials thread at the top of this forum.

But isn't TiVo HD a better deal than a S3 due to the M-Card capability of the T-HD?

Or am I wrong? I was close in buying a S3 a while ago.
