Secret Diary of a Call Girl Season pass issue
Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but is anyone else having a problem with their season pass/series link for Secret Diary....? It's happening on my DTivo and my newer DTV DVR. I set the season pass/series link and it says it's set, but no episodes ever get recorded. They don't show up on the to do list or the recording history as not recording. If I search for the show it gives me the option to edit the season pass. I've deleted it and readded it. I've added other season passes in the meantime and they work fine.

Do you have your season pass set to record first run only for I found with this show that it wont record via season pass if set to first run only.

I do. I didn't think to try setting it to record reruns since it's a new show and I was afraid to set it to record all since Showtime airs things so many times. I'll try changing it tonight. Sometimes it's the simple things that work.

The show originally aired in Britain and I think the "Original Air Date" in the guide data is the air date in Britain. Which makes the TiVo think that every airing is a rerun. So yeah, "First Runs and Repeats" works. No need to use "All with Duplicates."

On my directv box I notice the first run dates for the show are all in 2007.
So I think that is the problem.

So that's why I haven't gotten any recordings of this!
Now I just need to know why Monday's episode of The Middleman didn't auto-record, either...

Yeah, that is my observation. Mine picked up epi 1 and blew off the others, so I manually added in the subsequent epis from the upcoming list.
How much do I love that epi# feature! I don't know when that started but it has saved me on a few series, especially sometimes when they don't show a episode description.
