I have been having some issues with my two boxes..I know, so has everyone else...but I haven't seen these issues mentioned. When I am watching a show and I hit the pause button the time listed on the green progress bar at the bottom of the screen is, if I am lucky, only an hour off. The time on the front of the dvr is fine. This also throws off the program guide so the wrong program is listed that I am watching. It still records things properly, but the whole time sequence is off. On my dch 3412 and my dct 3416. If I restart the boxes things will be fine...for a while. Its not as if its one box and its defective..its both units. Also noticing that on my 3416 unit, besides the time and guides being off that when I try to pause something I get that tivo error bong...happens on both inputs and it won't keep anything in queue. Again, if I restart the boxes it will be fine.
Does anyone know what I am talking about and what is causing this? Is it the software? Comcast? Or do I in fact have two defective dvrs?
