Now that its online programming is ready to go, Warner Brothers Television Group has lined up a roster of distribution partners: Dailymotion, Joost, Sling Media, TiVo (NasdaqGM: TIVO - News) and Veoh Networks. The sites will create dedicated channels for programming from TheWB.com and KidsWB.com, the two new ad-supported broadband properties WBTVG unveiled in late April. Both sites are still in beta.

Looks like a step toward true(scripted and acted) entertainment verus Podcast type formats we have now via TiVocast.
Looks to have a focus on Women. Good for them

In the linked story they mention Gilmore Girls as being one of the shows. Not sure if that would be available via TiVo, but I's love to catch up on that one. I only watched the first two seasons before losing the WB for awhile, and never caught back up.
Guess I'm part of the target audience.

If they provide all the content that they have on thewb.com, it will be these: All Of Us, Blue Water High, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dangerous, Friends, Gilmore Girls, One Tree Hill, Smallville, The OC and Veronica Mars
Plus whatever is on the kids version of the site.

That would be awesome. Some of my Faves are on that list. (At heart I think I'm a teenage girl)

oh - I never caught Smallville in its first run but would watch it happily as a tivocast type thing. I do not think it is just a straight one for one from the WB lineup though.
The article you linked discusses the content that will be available and I saw no mention of smallville.

Saw this quick blurb about thewb.com and the following line caught my attention.

I assume this was just written poorly, and it doesn't necessarily mean the "teen drama" will launch on all syndication partners tomorrow...but I'd love to be wrong.
