Metagenerator doesn't work with Netflix

I'm using version 351t10. I get the following error message when searching for a movie using Netflix

Quote:
Search failed: An error occurred while parsing
I get it when searching for any movie. An example, Godfather

I'm using FiOS.

I just tried mine, doing a search for "Godfather," and it appears to be working. Using Netflix as the source and v. 3.48.

"godfather" and "the godfather" both search OK using Netflix on my Ver. 3.51T10.

You must have an internet problem or a corrupt installation. Perhaps wipe your install folder clean and repopulate it from the zip. I hope you're not installing under one of the Program Files folders. That is totally unnecessary and can lead to problems when you try to populate from the zip, on Win7 and Win8.

What version of Windows are you running?

This message indicates a failure to get a valid XML from the web source. There is a 20 sec timeout on web searches but if the error is a timeout the message should say that.

Sometimes I get a time out or other error message. I just have to click on search again, or maybe a third time, then it seems to work.

It's also very picky sometimes about how the title is entered.

Short answer. I installed Windows updates and rebooted my machine. I suspect rebooting is what solved the problem.

Long answer. Windows 7 Pro with SP1. MGT installed in a directory under desktop (I know that's not the real location). I deleted directory then reinstalled MGT. Didn't solve the issue.

edited to add the only issue was with Netflix. Program worked fine when I selected TheMovieDB as the source
