Question Navigating Large Collections

I have a huge collection of a few shows that I have on my TiVo Desktop (2.6.1). The problem that I'm having is when I view the list from a TiVo it simply shows me a raw list of the shows. I have turned on sorting in alphabetical order, and left grouping on, but it's still just a list of the videos.

Is there any trick to get grouping of my collection when I browse from a TiVo?

TIA!

That, or Galleon, or Galleon and pyTivo together. The TiVo folders bug makes pyTivo generally the better choice for TTCB (although I like several features in Galleon's implementation better), but pyTiVo doesn't support TTG and the other Galleon applications. To my mind, at this point in time Galleon + pyTivo is the best replacement for TiVo Desktop.

Start with PyTivo. I use pytivo to pull shows to the tivo and tivo desktop to pull shows to a PC.

IIRC, while viewing the shows you have on your PC from the Tivo, they will not group.
They only group when transferred back to the Tivo (if the metadata is still intact).
The fastest way to browse is to use the channel down button to go from page to page.
