Can you manually record on Tivo Series 2 DT Digital Video Recorder without service. I just purchased mine couple weeks back from Big Lots. It gave me free service for a week then it turned off and won't do nothing. I plan to purchase the service the first of April but are there anyway to get it manually record programs until then I don't care about program guide. I am new to Tivo thats the reason i ask thanks in advance.
