I Hate Charter Cable

They just raised the price of my monthly Cable Card rental from $1.50 to $2.00! I know it isn't much but shouldn't they have at least informed be about an upcoming increase?

I got a letter around a month or two ago on their rate changes. They changed more than just CableCard prices. AFAIK, they send these letters out to all their customers when changes are being made.

Same here, I got a letter several weeks ago advising me of the new (but not improved) pricing scheme. It should have been included with your January bill.

I also got a letter. If you only receive online statements then the letter would not have come in your January bill it would have come by itself.

I think all cable company's are raising there prices. Bright House Networks did the same thing.

Drives me crazy too. I own a motel and since its a commercial account they have me sign a contract stating a rate for x amount of years. They lock me into a contract for as many as 5 years and the only way I can get out of it would be to pay a hefty cancel fee. What P%^t me off was within 2 months after I sign our new contract they sent me a letter stating there was going to be a rate increase. Needless to say I just hit the roof...WTH I have to stay with them but they can raise there rates anytime!? I called and really raised a stink about it, fortunatly I was able to talk to the right people and convince them that what they were attempting to do to me was soooo wrong that they will not be increasing my rates. Sometimes it pays to bitch I guess.
