comcast hd without settop box

Is it possible to get comcast HD on my series 3 tivo without a settop box or cable cards from comcast?

yes. but only the SD and unencrypted HD channels.

This is from Vista news letter. It's very interesting and a must read. I have not verified any of the info but I believe it's true

And Sean D. tells us about another cool-sounding product: "I love my HTPC: If you buy a product called the HDHomerun, you can get free HD content from Comcast without paying the extra 10 dollars a month. Comcast broadcasts the QAM signal "free" over the line.
