Sky PIN problem (again)

hi there,

I have been using the special digibox code that sends 0000 after every channel change for around 6 months, but my sky PIN got blocked and they now say they can't change it to anything beginning with a "0" because it can "damage your equipment".

Now I know this is total bo**ocks, and I notice a software upgrade on my didgibox now prevents me from setting the PIN from there. DOing it online also disallows a leading "0".

Can anyone assist?

OK, it's fixed. I finally got through to a decent person on the phone support and he changed it back to "0000", although he said it shouldn't work...

may be useful for anyone else who has this issue.

i had the problem of not being able to change it from the box - but it turned out that your phone line has to be attached before it'll allow you to alter the pin.

Sky pin also unblocks itself after 10 or 15 minutes from what I can recall.

Which is the special digibox code that sends 0000 after a channel change ? I searched but couldn't find anything that mentions this, did you mean the modified IRBlast ?
