CableCARDs: SCard vs. Card
Hi,
I have a TiVo HD DVR, Comcast, and two CableCARDs. When I insert card #1, it recognizes it as an "SCard" and states "SCard Inserted." When card #2 is inserted, it is recognized as "Card" and it states "Card Inserted."
Is this normal/correct behavior?
Thanks,
-Steve

Mine says the same thing and I've had no problems since my install last week.

Since the first card can be an SCard or an MCard it differentiates. The second card can only be an SCard since an MCard supplies both streams so it doesn't need to specify S or M card.

OK, thanks for the clarification. the first one does specify "Single Stream" and I figured that's what the "S" meant. I just wasn't sure why it was not on the second one.
Thanks again,
-Steve
