Error on Tivo Desktop

When I try and access my recordings on my five Tivo's using the Tivo Desktop (2.5.1) I get the following error message.

There was an error while attempting to retrieve data from the selected DVR. Not enough storage is available to process this command.

I have almost 750 GB of free space on my computer and I have tried this using both XP and Vista. I cannot even get the shows to show up on the screen let alone do anything with them. Has anyone else had this happen. Thanks in advance.

I haven't seen that particular message, but I've had more than my fair share of glitches with TiVo Desktop.

Rather than spending hours trying to diagnose the problem I've found it much easier to fully uninstall it (TiVo Desktop that is) and reinstall it for a fresh start. That's always cured it for me...hope it works for you too.

You might want to do some searching on the TiVo Home Media Features & TiVoToGo thread or post your question there for a better response.
