File discriptions to tivo through TD?
Is there a manual way to get descriptions to the Tivo for files trasferred via TivoDesktop or must one use something like pytivo to do this? I really don't need pytivo's transcoding ablility, I prefer to prep the files (mpeg2) myself to a format acceptable to tive and verify they are in sync etc before transferred to the Tivo where there are seen by a wider audience (WAF).
If I really need to set up pytivo just for the capability of discriptions, I will but would prefer to do it manually with through tivo desktop. Pytivo does not serve music or HD photos which are also used on our TivoHD so would need both I suppose.
I do see that users of the Mac version of TivoDesktop can edit a .properties file in thier MyTivoRecordings folder for each video and at least edit the name and discription of the file. I see nothing similar in the PC version. Is the data stored somewhere else?
Can someone point me in the right direction?
