L&O:SVU "Blinded" 11/13/07

Wow! Only SVU could try to offer arguments for why we should feel compassion for a child rapist. That ep, like many recent ones, tried to cram so many dramatic twists and turns in that there's no real plot holding it all together. And I hardly think the feds would go quietly into the night if the DA's office had won the first round.

After 8+ years, I think this is it for me.

I wonder if this means Jack wont be in the court room any more. I havent seen the original law and order moving him to the new job yet.

It did seem strange that benson was doing all the talking while his wife just sat there in the hospital part.

This episode did have a somewhat different feel to it. I think they decided to reveal something about Casey's past so they needed to write a less conventional episode to do it.

I was surprised by the resolution of Stabler's blindness though. I had heard about it a while ago so I figured it would be drawn out over a few episodes.

The did actually show Casey identifying her ex-boyfriend's body in one of the episodes, correct? Does anyone remember which episode that was?

As far as Jack as DA, I think they pretty much alluded to this at the end of last season. It was just weird that he was introduced on SVU rather than L&O, which hasn't started up yet.
