Some question with Tivo HD

Just wondering......

Lets say I have the 'Price is Right' recording everyday.
If I was to set the 'Keep at Most' to 3 episodes....
I know it will only schedule 3 shows but will it schedule more as I watch the recorded shows.

Meaning I have 3 recorded shows, I watch one of them, so will the record the next days show to put it back up to the 3 total and so on?

================

Also is there a way to permenently delete all that is in your "Recently Deleted" all at once?

================

Is there a way to have a show in your season pass but somehow tell it "I Just don't record any show until I tell you to"?

I know you can put that show down to the bottom of the list but...
Example would be the "Price is right". It would record everyday. Right now I don't want it to but maybe next week I do. I don't want to remove it from my season pass list though.

Thanks for your help,
Debbie

If you have it set to "keep at most 3," It will keep recording so you always have three saved.

If you set it to "Keep until space needed," it will record it every new episode and save the three newest ones. If you set it to "Keep until I delete," it will record three and then stop until you delete one, and then it'll record another one.

Regarding the Recently Deleted folder, unfortunately no, there is not a way to permanently delete everything at once. Not sure why you would want to do that anyway. The contents will roll off on their own and they never stop TiVo from recording anything.

The quickest way to clear it out is to open the folder and click on the "clear" button on your TiVo remote...left bottom button in the number keys. It will ask if you want to permanently delete it and you can click on "enter" (right bottom button) or "Select" at the top of the remote. It's a bit of a pain, but you can move through them fairly quickly with some practice.

You can set up a non-auto-recording wishlist. I have many of these set up. Then once every few weeks I go to see what hits I have and then set the ones I want to record.

Yes I do have several 'wishlist' item listed that I go through at least once a week. Mainly shows that I know are coming up or back on like Jericho but are not in the guide yet.
