Transfer from HDVR2 to R10

I am a new subscriber and have read most of the posts. I bought a new DTV system on another account. DTV now wants me to send a "leased" receiver back. As most I have some important video contained on the R10. Is it possible to transfer the content to my HDVR2? I do not have the home media option. Thanks

best thing you can do is connect a vcr or a dvd recorder and "save to vcr"
